L'actual, in Castellar del Vallès, interviews the Moventis driver, Carme García
She has been driving a Moventis bus for over 20 years. It is a job that brings her great joy. She is equally passionate about her contact with people and the world of motor vehicles.
· How long have you been a bus driver?
20 years. It runs in the family. My father had a driving school in Barberà del Vallès. I’ve always loved to drive and I got my bus drivers’ licence when I was 21. I got my car licence when I was 18. I started studying the theory when I was 17. I passed my practical test first time and my theory test on the second go. I was one of the first female drivers at the company. I started on La Vallesana, in Castellar, but now I drive the B1 and B2 around Sabadell, Ripollet and Badia. They are very busy lines.
Thank you very much, Carme, for your optimism and passion!
