This year’s “Mar d’Esperança” Day took place on “Sa Cova” Beach in Playa de Aro on Saturday 20 May. This day is organised in collaboration with the Enriqueta Villavecchia Children’s Oncology Foundation and the Mar Foundation to bring the sea closer to the families forming part of the Enriqueta Villavecchia Foundation with sick children, showing them the sea floor in the region via an underwater camera and bringing them into close contact with some of the most fascinating animals for children, as well as showing them others of particular interest and unique characteristics. Snacks were offered to participating families and volunteers at lunchtime and a small musical surprise added a soundtrack to the party.
The activities took place thanks to the support from the “Antigues Caixes Catalanes Foundation” (BBVA) and Moventis, who provided a vehicle to carry all the boys and girls, fathers, mothers and volunteer monitors.
The day was full of happiness and discoveries that helped the families and children enjoy an experience they will not soon forget. Another demonstration of Moventia’s commitment to our society.
