The Tibidabo bus
The Tibibús line was launched on 1 May 1993 as a result of an agreement between the Tibidabo Theme Park and Transports Ciutat Comtal, and has a fleet of ten buses fitted with access ramps for persons with reduced mobility
This service, offering both comfort and speed, was created so people could travel to the Tibidabo Theme Park without needing to use their own private cars. As an added bonus, the ticket price is deducted from the cost of entry into the park and is free for Tibiclub members. It runs on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays throughout the year and also on weekdays in July and August while the park is open.
Barcelona Servicios Municipales (BSM) took over management of the theme park. On 5 March 2011, coinciding with the start of the park’s new season, the line’s name was changed to T2A and the T2B line was created between Tibidabo and Vall d'Hebron to replace the service that was provisionally offered between the Sant Genís Car Park and Tibidabo.
